Under a patient hold from jockey Jose Lezcano, Berks County trailed the field in the early going. Entering the stretch, the 2yr. old maiden colt by Lonhro, fanned wide into the 6th path and steadily gained ground, finally engaging in a duel with Ventry Bay. Berks County proved too much, however, and drew away with a comfortable length and a half margin of victory. Congratulations to valued client and friend Matthew Schera on an exciting Saratoga Victory!!
