Enduring all kinds of unforeseen trouble from start to finish, rider Irad Ortiz Jr. was able to keep GreyJoy focused en-route to a hard-earned Winner's Circle photo. Breaking sharply inward at the break and making contact with his inside rival, GreyJoy's rough trip was only just beginning. After maneuvering from the inside to the 3-path in between traffic and then swinging 4-wide into the stretch through heavy traffic, GreyJoy powered into the lead mid-stretch only to be slammed hard from the horse to his inside. Through it all, GreyJoy would not be denied today and gave Carlos Martin his 5th winner of the Saratoga Season. Congratulations to winning stable - WGG Racing, and all their friends and family on an exciting win.
