Blue Devil Racing's TAPA LIATH proved a determined winner in Friday's 8th race at the Big A. Breaking a bit awkwardly, rider Rajiv Maragh quickly got the Roan 4yr. old daughter of Praddy O' Prado focused on the task at hand. Content to sit patiently at the back of the pack, Maragh finally let loose the reins and TAPA LIATH responded with a sustained run that ended with a 3/4 length win over heavy favorite Nouvelle Vague.
