On Thursday afternoon at the Big A - Rocco Strong woke up to discover what this "Racing" thing was all about, winning his 3rd lifetime start in professional fashion & drastically improving from his first two starts in 2020. As exciting as this win was for owners Britton Peak Racing, Charles Wallshein, John Caputo, Roger Bell & Toga Party Racing; the victory took on added significance for one special little boy & his loving parents.
When the owner's of "RiverRun" were introduced to the story of Rocco DiMaggio, a little boy who had been diagnosed with potentially fatal Cancer - they rallied to his cause, promoting his GoFundMe Campaign to enable his treatments & fight for life. With the wish for Rocco's recovery in our prayers, "RiverRun" became "Rocco Strong" , making this win today extra special for all involved.
